To Know GOD and Make HIM Known
Live A Legacy To Leave A Legacy.
To know and be known by GOD through regular study and worship, and to make HIM known to family, friends, co-workers, and strangers in need, by speaking the truth in love, acts of service, and sharing GOD’s provision. Ever more consistent, honest and open, quick to forgive and ask forgiveness. Choosing to make evident the Fruit of the SPIRIT in my life, asking in all circumstances, “What Would Jesus Do?”
From HIM, Through Me, To Them, Anywhere.

Speak the truth in love
In all my communication, I tell the truth, I do not shade, hide, or mislead others for my benefit. At The same time, I realize that not all ‘truth’ is helpful, beneficial or loving, and so I refrain from hurting others needlessly.
.
Acts of service
I go out of my way to help other people, for no other reason than it is what GOD wants me to do. I use some of my time to benefit people who may not repay me in kind. I interrupt my schedule to see to others’ needs.
.
Sharing GOD’s provision.
I see what I ‘possess’ as GOD’s property on loan to me. Since it belongs to GOD, I use my wealth in ways pleasing to HIM. I remind myself I will be held accountable for how I handle what He has given. I give generously to those in need. I remember that GOD will provide me all that I need to care for all He has entrusted to me. I do not squander ‘my’ resources on things that have no lasting value.
.
Ever more:
-
Consistent
- I am dependable and constant in my actions and emotions. Peple around me can predict how I will respond in any circumstance. I don’t ‘fly off the handle’, or over-react when things don’t go my way.
-
Honest and open
- I don’t hide my feelings or say one thing and mean another. When I tell someone something they can trust that I have spoken as truly as I know. While I may be wrong I don’t mislead intentionally.
-
Quick to forgive and ask forgiveness
- I don’t hold grudges when someone has hurt me. I am eager to make things right as soon as I can. As soon as I know that I have offended someone else I go to them to make amends. I don’t hold on too my pride and justify myself or rationalize that I was correct in my behavior. I don’t spread stories of my hurts to other people to make my look better.
.
Choosing to make evident the Fruit of the SPIRIT in my life.

Asking in all circumstances, “What Would Jesus Do?”
- Jesus is not only my Creator, King, Lord, and Friend, HE is also my role model, my guide to action. By looking to HIM and seeing what HE would do in any situation, I can find the right way to respond.
