 Review fuel efficiency policies

  • 10% idle

Shut truck off whenever not driving as much as possible, such as at shipper/receiver, truck stops, etc.

  • Shifting (RPM’s)

Do not over-rev engine. Keep RPM’s within 1300-1500

  • Tire Pressure (100 PSI)

Check pressure with a tire gauge DAILY. Using a gauge is the only way to know true pressure.

 

Have trainee repeat.
